The program is open to licensed and credentialed health professionals, including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered dietitians and nutritionists, registered nurses, pharmacists, and obesity medicine or weight-management specialists. You apply through UpPromote and submit your professional credentials, and our team reviews each application to confirm you are a practicing clinician or health professional. Approval typically takes 24 to 48 hours.
That depends on your profession, your license, your state or provincial rules, and your specific board or employer policies, so you are the right person to make that call, ideally with guidance from your board, professional association, or your own counsel. A few things that tend to help: Maeva products are over-the-counter consumer nutrition products, not prescription items, and the program does not involve billing insurance or any federal health program. As a general best practice, and consistent with FTC guidance, we encourage you to disclose your financial relationship with Maeva whenever you recommend it. You are responsible for ensuring your participation fits the rules that apply to you, and you can leave the program at any time.
No. This is a referral program, not a sales or wholesale arrangement. You never hold inventory, take payment, or ship anything. You simply share your personal link or code, and interested patients order directly from Maeva. You are free to recommend Maeva purely as education and let patients decide on their own.
Once you are approved, you receive a personal referral link and, sometimes, a discount code. When a patient orders through your link or enters your code at checkout, the order is automatically attributed to you and tracked in your UpPromote dashboard. The same link continues to credit you for that patient’s future recurring orders, with no need for them to click it again each time.
Yes. Maeva is purpose-built for GLP-1 journeys, but the shakes are complete, balanced nutrition that can support a wide range of patients, including those managing appetite, protein intake, or general nutritional gaps for other reasons. As always, patients with specific medical conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions should check with their clinician before starting.
You still keep the commission you earned on their first order. The 25% first-order commission is yours once that order clears the standard return window. The 10% recurring commission applies only to later orders, so if a patient does not reorder, you simply do not earn the recurring portion. There is no penalty or clawback if a patient chooses not to continue.
Commissions are tracked in your UpPromote dashboard and paid out on a monthly schedule. Payments are released once orders have cleared the standard return and refund window, and they are sent through UpPromote to the payment method you set up in your account. Orders that are refunded or charged back are not paid out. You will also receive monthly performance insights so you can track referrals and earnings.
Not yet. Maeva is not currently listed on Fullscript, but we know how much practitioner dispensary platforms matter to your workflow, and we are actively exploring it. For now, the Practitioner Partnership Program is the best way to recommend Maeva and earn on every order, and we will notify partners as soon as anything changes.
